Now I know it's been a while since you've heard from me, but don't let that fool you, I've been busy!

New Site Creator/Editor
I've been working on this for a while and am pretty tired of it, as such it hasn't received a lot of testing, so I expect it to be pretty buggy for a few days. If you encounter reproducible errors, post here or send me a PM.
I've also added a "Holiday YTMNDs" content box, if your site has a keyword like: christmas, kwanza[a], ha[n]nukah, chan[n]ukah, etc, it will be in the running for this box. As always, keyword abuse is grounds for site deletion, so don't try and cheat.
I am also working out a new system for limiting edit changes, you can read about it here and discuss it here.

New Site Creator/Editor
- New multiple step process for creating and editing sites.
- Stateless session allows you to begin creating or editing a site, close your browser and come back later to finish it off.
- Domains are now automagically reserved when you start the site creation process.
- Nifty uploading screen with sound!
- Dupe checking for titles, images and sounds complete with insulting warning messages.
- Color picker GUI.
- Site Preview!
- Site and User Citation: Back-reference other sites or authors and it will link them on the profile page.
- "Classic YTMND" classification for a future content box.
- Ability to set your own sites as NSFW.
- Live update of site keywords.

Pope-Corckey-XXIII has been downvoting my sites because of my alarming and horrible typos: This is pretty funny but in your comments on "bust a cap fo' kwanzaa" you said "no" instead of "know" and "middle easterns" in staid of "middle easterners". Sorry, but these are horrible abuses of grammar and I am going to have to go ahead and down vote you.
it's just not how it used to be around here. I wish we could take it back to the time around mid summer 06. That's when stuff was really intact. top 15 was the way it should be. the presence of new categories on the page changes how everything works. i miss the midnight scramble to get up and coming and be top 15 the next day. back then telemarketer would be gone within like a day. that site sux big balls. everybody's not looking at the same thing. everything's scattered. that's enough whining from me.
This sucks. I know (for a fact) I'm not the only one stuck in a loop where you can't create YTMNDs, and sooner or later more will too. Will someone fix it? I don't know, because it's been 2 days since I wrote support @ YTMND. I guess it's okay to f*ck up a good layout, f*ck people's accounts and then sit back and watch it f*ck itself.
I know he's crude but I gotta agree with fleshmachine...im also stuck in a non creative loop...max or someone...if you're reading this here's the issue: I started when I deleted a site, and then tried to reup it with new music since editing the music on the site wasnt working...it deleted fine...once I try to recreate it i get a message saying the site isnt mine and I cant edit it,which is weird because at that point in the game,I have no site in front of me to edit/create.
Also, for those of you who are stuck in the loop and think you can't create new sites, you can still use the old site creator @ http://ytmnd.com/sites/new, which is what I've been doing for the past couple weeks and it works fine, just make sure you know your information and content is proper before submitting.

Sorry if max doesn't have a crack coding team but at the moment there's... max... and if he releases something that breaks more than it fixes you guys would just bitch MORE. It's a FREE site run by ONE GUY in his SPARE TIME. Chill.

It seems that, in its early days, YTMND acted like an infant, imprinting the first fads it saw, permanently. Now, quite arbitrarily, fads like NSMB and Peppers are indistinguishable from YTMND. Somehow, folks think that these fads ARE the essence of YTMND, instead of a chapter in its development. Rather than moving on, people keep going back to the same dry well, years later. It's a shame, really.
OK KaneRobot... how about instead of thinking of an idea that encompasses everything from AtoZ like, you know, "Guy stealing bike with someone chasing and 'n*gg* stole my bike' playing" you pick a concept and try to do something creative with it. Pick anything. Pick, say, "The difference between the norm and the normal" or "Giraffes look like trees" and run with it. Or, you know, do 11 things at once like I do. If you run out of ideas, it's probably because your idea of an idea is too narrow.
