no Enthasius. this was a photoshop contest on fark.com. The photoshop was so believable that it has been mentioned in multiple magazines and by guys such as Steve Jobs... all believing it really was (i think popular mechanics) expectation of a 2001 PC.

Guys from 1950 thought that they would only achieve that size of computers in 2004. I bet that a computer of that size can run 2 copies of Halo, and play Solitaire while waiting.

It can run 2 copies of Half Life 2 and still have enough memory left for a game of solitaire whilst they load!
