I would prefer a new 7.62 bullpup as the new Army gun. Polycarbon composite is fine with me... even if it looks a bit "gay". One thing i dont like about the XM8 is there is no picatinny rail. They use different modular locking holes for mounting optics. I know picatinny rails are difficult, but they are standard. It's not good to deviate from that.
