This is the truth. You can actually choose to have the king bring you out to the ring once you've earned the BK sponsorship somehow. He's funny as hell, and offeres some kind of skill increase, but it's more of an annoyance to see a fast food add in the game then to lol at the burger king after about 10 matches.

No, he isn't playable, he's an unlockable trainer that replaces the regular trainers that would come out with you. You get a heart bonus in lieu of actual training.
