I read about this in a newspaper article other than the one featured in the picture. He did it because he was fed up with the inconveniences of company drug testing. He sold 5 oz of his drug-free urine for $14.95 to anyone who didn't like drug tests either. The state of South Carolina (where he lived) made the sale of urine illegal in 1999, and after losing various court battles, he moved to North Carolina and still sells it nowadays.
