Tails....in Sonic CD? (Better Image)

Another prolific screenshot from Sonic CD. When you press a couple of numbers in the sound test menu (12 and 11), you get this. It gives you debug mode as well. Did this for humor, I guess. What Naka was trying to get out, I'll never know.

Inbound links:
Either the Sonic 2 we know of or this Sonic was going to be Sonic 2 and a marker for the rest of the series (the team had split into 2, this and Sonic 2 is the result of both side's work seperately). This was the one that wasn't chosen (obviously, Sonic 2 was chosen). I guess they just made the image in advance in case Tails was gonna be a part of it.
