They don't think YTMND is the future of gaming they just want to develope a "YouTube, YTMND, Wikipedia, etc." for games. They want to let independent developers put their games on this site or program so that way they can get recognition and give gamers more choice, All for free. They want to make something YTMND-esq
Interesting presentation but Microsoft and EA, the giants of gaming would crush, kill, and destroy anything remotely competitive, thus stifling innovation because they make money off the status quo. Innovating is risky and doesn't please shareholders. See the 5 billion Madden games for proof vs. how many rpgs or truly unique games that have come out in the past 5 years... I hate the current vg industry.
Correction: This is not saying that YTMND is teh future of gaming, but user-created content is. The slide shown is saying that the gaming industry needs more support towards the cummunity and needs to allow people not experienced enough to create games for major companies get try and learn a few things.
the other day i was walking down the street and i noticed this old man. he was a bum, and id seen him every now and then on some far off corner, drunk, passed out, sh*tting himself. something to that extent every time. but this time it was different. he was obviously sober, a very rare thing to see in this city, and he was sitting and running his fingers back and forth in the air, as if he was counting something. touting this as a unique opportunity, i walked up to him, and said

I doubt that the intended audience of this slide even knows what a YTMND is. 1'd because if Corporate America ever got ahold of YTMND or even created a copy of it, it would suck. You really think corportae execs would allow stuff like NSMB or Brian Peppers? Hell no. Their "community content" would turn into a censored, sanitized piece of sh*t to appease Bible thumpers and baby boomer parents. This isn't a good thing folks.
