The NES version of this sh*tty song is acceptable. This way I don't have to hear the lyrics. I swear they just altered the lyrics of some sh*tty love song of theirs to make that song.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Awesome. Feel free to tell me how you recreate the effect/sound.
August 23rd, 2006

soooooooo awesome. I'd play it XD

In this wonderful game you play Agent Nelville Flynn trying to keep the snakes off the plane! Use you're awesome jedi powers and fight the snakes with your taser weapon! Out now, m*therf*ckers.

That's it! I haven't had enough of this motherf'in YTMND on this motherf'in favorites list.
August 23rd, 2006

That song sounds so much better in 8-bit. Of course, that goes for a lot of songs of that type.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
By any chance did you use Peach and Toad vst synths in FL to make this?
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
I hate that song, but I love this YTMND.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
OH, I'm READY FOR IT! (Come on baby!) This is WAY better than the original.

August 23rd, 2006
(0)
I love the music, please help me understand how you did it. The websites I've checked out are too confusing...
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Do you have the whole song? BTW 5'd
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
The dubbed voice...
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
It'd be better "nintendo" without The Line- as great as the line is- there's no voice recordings on the NES.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
t3knomanse, there actually is. The 1st NES game to have voice is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltles, but it was overdubbed because of the NESs power.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
excellent rendering of the song, how did you do it?
August 23rd, 2006

August 23rd, 2006

August 23rd, 2006
(0)
im 5'ing on the assumption you made the audio
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
i agree with the very first comment. absolutely love the sound and front page, but i'd love to see actual gameplay... this is neat, but it's not that funny, and in lieu of a joke you need something else to propell it into 'sweet' territory.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Remix ftw.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
NES wouldn't have the quote
August 23rd, 2006

Good chiptune. The voice sounded pretty authentic for what the NES could do.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Awesome music. 5!
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Motherf*cking awesome, except this is C64 music.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
You know, if this was the 8-Bit era, they'd probably make this game.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
very nice! great job w/the music, although it's true the first part IS c64. tweak it if you want but pls don't touch the "c'mon baby" part of the song, it's the best part!
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
Re: C64 music / not NES... [nerd alert] ...unless of course it's an unlicensed Camerica cartridge, which did have audio effects similar to those common to the C64. however, i doubt Camerica would have the resources to purchase the marketing license for SoaP... :( @ me.
August 23rd, 2006

tell me where the 6 button is, NAO
August 23rd, 2006

August 23rd, 2006

I'd have to say also, nice job on the voice. It does sound like he says "I've had enough of these motherf*ckin snakes on this motherf*ckin game". Commendable work.
August 23rd, 2006
(0)
I'd play it... Also, while I hate most Emo trash, I actually like the Snakes on a Plane song... but mostly for Snakes on a Plane, and not Cobra Starship.
August 23rd, 2006

-2 because this is COMMODORE 64 MUSIC not NES MUSIC. Other than that cool. But seriously.
April 20th, 2007
(0)
It is not C64 music. It uses rapid arpeggios that are perfectly possible on the NES and have been done before.
July 24th, 2007
