He just doesn't want to go because the ship has no warp engines. He's afraid that Klingons will attack. And with all that outdated technology we have in this primitive time we won't be able to fight back.

I'm not surprised Shatner wouldn't go into space. So now he's not just an overrated actor but also a total wussbag.

...F*ck, considering how explosive the last few trips have been? I don't blame 'em.

I wouldn't go either. A lot of flights go like this: *launch* *mission control breaks out the champagine* *space ship randomly explodes* *ends up being something involving the design*. With the not-so failsafe history of space travel, I'm fine firmly planted on the ground.

Am I supposed to collapse laughing at the irony or something? These news report things are getting old now

He's also 75 years old and obviously not in very good shape. I wouldn't go into space either if I were him. I bet you he would back in the 60's if someone game him a chance. Maybe he doesn't trust a private company space vehicle?

Bullsh*t. How many of YOU would accept an offer to go into space? Remember Space Shuttle Columbia? It killed all 7 of its passengers when a pebble-sized piece of space dust nicked it.
