Aside from the colors and fonts, I like the idea. Customizability is the way to go, for sure. Why stop at just customizing where to place each section? How about customizing how many of each are in each section? That would eliminate the whole top 15, top 30, top 100, etc. battle that went on not too long ago. Hell, make even the colors customizeable.
