"Gamecube 2.5" my ass. The Wii may not be as technically powerful as the other two, but it's not Gamecube hardware with a remote like people seem to be saying. The CPU and GPU are both at twice as fast as their predecessors.

Agreed. Plus, graphics DO NOT make a game. "Oooh, I can see the texture on that chipped old glass slightly better than before, thanks 3460p!!!" Anyone who buys games for graphics, probably is amazed by shiny things.

But with a better hardware wouldnt game creators be able to fullfill more of their visions? Its not all about the graphics when you measure the streanght of a console. That is very naive of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft fans alike.

Game creators may be able to fulfill more of their "visions" (slightly), but its also more expensive and time consuming for them to do so.. so you've got LESS developers that CAN fulfill their visions.

You know, I really do love the Wii. But if you want to get nitpicky, some of the lighting effects on the are pretty subpar (particularly the streetlight). I'll be buying one regardless of the graphics, though.

Wii is only cool if your on a budget or have kids.. Best system for games is PC, thats undeniable, then Xbox360/PS3( didnt want to offend anyone about the xbox360 vs ps3 thing, personally I like xbox360 but their equal I guess. )

Wii=Gamecube advance. And that game has limited environments allowing the programmers to make better graphics. Well...The only thing on the screen that looked good were the guys arms, but the graphics on that game still suck compared to Killzone 2 or Assassins Creed. Too bad the Wii sucks too much to play good games like thoes. (Red Steel sucked anyway)

Hey GeoffZak, NEWS FLASH. Killzone 2 and Assassin's Creed sucked just as much as Red Steel. And the Wii may be a "Gamecube advance", but the PS3 is the same price as a desktop computer with only half the gaming capabilities. You like graphics? Get a brain then and buy a PC. Oh, right! You don't actually BUY your games, do you?
