So you're saying that these two bands should be first to respond and not the government? Odd statement, to say the least. And, yes, American troops did come. American troops did the best they could. The troops themselves would've liked to have been there sooner, but they can only do so if they get orders. No orders were given, so the video is assailing the government who is responsible for such actions, not the troops... If the troops had come to clean up the bodies of 2+ million you could've...

said the same things. Unfortunately, timing is everything. They raised money for the people of New Orleans... which is not their job. It's the government's job. The government failed. The band shouldn't have even had to think about traveling to New Orleans to help out... the government's job is to handle such situations with as much aid as is deemed necessary... and quickly. Timing is everything. You're an idiot.

Negative, Korf41. I'm not saying that those bands were supposed to be there helping. And no, the video does not just paint a bad image of the government. It is a kick to the groin of the men and woman who WERE there. The video makes it seem as if there was no aid at all, and that's a damn lie. They were there not just to "clean up the mess", but immediatly after the levee's broke, Airforce PJs were jumping into flood waters to pick people out. They were there.
