well you certainly do hate microsoft... and you have a few chronological falsities such as the album organizing in itunes (that was WMP first by a week or so) and a lot of the features you said OSX had 5 years ago not only were fairly recent, within 2-3 years, they were implemented after microsoft publicly announced their presence in vista's release. These things really give Windows users a reason to hate smug mac fanboys like yourself and me to some extent. Pretty much they will always be identical now.

I prefer Mac. But most of your stuff here is inaccurate. Windows alt-tabbed before OSX. Widgets havent been around 5 years. Some might say konfibulator started them. Then again, the original Mac OS had the first commercially available computer "desk accessories" like the calculator, the world map and the jigsaw puzzle. But then again Apple legally bought the gui concept from Xerox (though apple totally revamped and added a lot to it). But then MS ripped it off (they didnt pay for the idea).

that just means that now Vista is just as good as OSX, plus it will be able to play my vast library of PC games better than a mac could ever. i get the point you were trying to make (vista is playing catch up). but the conclusion is that in those facets of the OSs, Vista is equal, but it can still run so many more Apps (namely games) that a mac could. ergo, the WINNAH of VISTA vs OSX = VISTA

YES!! you missede a couple small ones like the calendar and mail but nonetheless great job. I can't wait for leopard, its going to be amazing. absolutely incredible. I made the switch recently actually. I did so after my video editing class, in which we used macs. glorious.

That's business buddy, got over it. A lot of those thing you said were "new" for vista have been around since xp. Vista also has a cool feature that lets you play games and use any program made for windows (which is a lot of cool stuff that is not for OSX).

OSX "stole" unix, they didn't even "copy" like vista, they based their OS on it and started making revenue. But no one seems to complain about that do they? All of this whining over ideas being copied is retarded.
