Suggestion: Baseball HOFer Ed Delahanty got drunk and fell off of Niagara Falls to his death in 1900.

Also, abotu that darwin awards comment. You can only get one if you have no children, it's removing you from the gene pool. That's why people can get a darwin award and be alive, if say, they lost their reporductive organs.

The Dick Cavett guest was some health nut who the day before in a newspaper article claimed he would live to at least 100. Wanna make God laugh? Tell Him your plans.

Needs a few more (I know they're probably coming anyways...) but it needs to be a bit slower to read comfortably. Other than that, pretty cool.

Also, there's a whole section of people who died on stage at snopes.com. There's at least one more deathbed scene that gets messed up by, well, death. Tiny Tim faceplanted and died in the middle of Tiptoe Through The Tulips.

Slow it down a bit for easier reading.....I know one, Lynyrd Skynyrd: Ronnie Van Zant, who once said that he wouldn't live to see 30, died in a plan crash less than 3 months before turning 30.

Interesting. Midgley invented horrible things - he worked for GM and had the oil companies start putting tetraethyl lead in gasoline to reduce engine knock - workers at refineries went insane with lead poisoning and it's still contaminating our environment years after "Regular" gas came out of use. The whole time, he insisted it was safe. To top it off, he went on to invent chloroflurocarbons, 10,000x more destructive to ozone than CO2, and used in thousands of products up til the 80s. Thanks, Midgley.
