Considering that the animation slowed down around the image of the vagina and the breast-feeding baby, and the clock, I saw pretty much all the uplifting ones, the sexual ones, AND the disturbing ones. But how many times have I seen something like this before? Amazingly, a lot. "Hurdy Gurdy Man" is just one of those songs that evokes the quick and disturbing. Check out the Butthole Surfers' cover and video.
It seems lewd and/or negative for several reasons, and it's not just what the pictures are of. Everything from the song chosen to the color scheme of the pictures adds to it. The "happy" pictures can still seem gloomy, especially when mixed in with some of the other ones. All it takes is one picture of a pile of skulls within twenty happy pictures, and I'll still have a largely negative response. Nothing's shocking about a watch or some dude skiing.
