Also, why would you try to upgrade to Vista? Just because it's there? If you read through most PC magazines, they'll tell you to hold off on buying Vista. Give Linux a try, smart guy. You might be surprised.

Also if you learned anything from the last 20 years of computer upgrading history, common sense would say to wait awhile before you buy vista. Comparing Microsoft's Vista to Apple's whatever the f*ck they have, it's like comparing some local high school team against Harvard's pee wee football team.
