I think this doesn't account for people who only vote on established sites with high ranking. If I don't have time to really pay attention to new sites, I usually vote on ones on the hotlists. As such, my amount of fives equals that amount of threes on the "correct" voting pie chart. In other words, if you don't vote on sites that already have a low score, you're vote tally is skewed anyway. I also tend to vote on sites that garner my reactions most, so ones that I do hate do get the appropriate score.
