What's up with that part in Return of the Jedi where 3PO says that that sand monster is going to slowly digest them over 1,000 years. He's implying that they will still be alive over that span. How the f*ck does being digested keep you alive for a 1,000 f*cking years? Are you kidding? What would you eat? Is there even air? What the f*ck, Lucas? How the f*ck could an adult write something that f*cking stupid? Oh, hey, is this site any good? I don't feel like clicking it
Well 3PO doesn't really say it, he just translates what Jabba says. Also, although it does imply that they will be alive for the full 1000 years, it is still theoreticly possible for the Sarlaac to continue digesting them after they have expired...somehow preserving their corpses in order for continued sustenance.
