Dude, if you don't get Metal Gear references, then you're not going to get 25% of pop culture references during the first quarter of this century. I recommend purchasing a PSX and Metal Gear: Solid. This will give you a solid foundation for understanding most Metal Gear YTMNDs. Also, familiarize yourself with David Hayter, Hideo Kojima, and Guyver.
