though at one point in my life, I figured taste was irrelevant if you just used a funnel all the time. unfortunately, that made my drinking and driving insanely conspicuous.

All you did was replace light beer with dark. The mainstream brewers have dark beers too, if that's what you like. I personally think it tastes like crap and makes me fart the next day...but w/e.
