the guy who lives next to me in my flat, i think he has tourettes. he's always like yelling "ahhhh, fuuuckkk!! ahhhhhh!!" seriously. the first time it happened i was all concerned and i almost ran over to see if he needed help, but it's happened like 20 times since then so it doesn't really phase me anymore. exept the other night, i sh*t you not, it was like 2am, and i heard what sounded like a dresser falling off a refrigerator or something. i can't even describe the sounds he made.
i honestly felt i had to do something so i went to my door and was like "sir! do you need any help?!" and he didn't respond. few minutes later he was up talking on the phone, and i went about my business. turns out he was calling 911 for himself. there were two firetrucks outside. my neighbor is a weird guy.
I've had lots of sh*t happen in my neighborhood. A Native American girl slit her wrists in the building north of mine, but she was saved in time. A lady from the building south of mine had a seizure and crashed her van into the building across the street. But she lived. A guy with Alzheimer's kept trying to break into the room below mine a few years ago because he thought the girl that lived there was someone else. And tons of natives have been arrested in the area.
The girl that used to live below me had an abusive boyfriend (her baby's daddy). They had fights all the time, especially when he got drunk. One night he broke her TV, pushed her against a wall, and grabbed the phone from her when she tried calling the cops and busted it against the wall. And one night, when I was sleeping and dreaming, my dream of hearing her yell "WHAT THE F*CK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!!!" suddenly became a reality. She had seen 3 kids trying to steal a car in the parking lot. Cops came
