here's my feeling on the self-checkout: if you require a cart, you are not allowed in self-checkout. it's supposed to be "the fast lane" (where i shop, there's a big sign that says that) and these morons with a full cart are like "i know, i'll use the self-checkout even though i'm probably gonna drink these 5 tall boys i'm buying and then burn my grandma's house down trying to cook these hungry man microwave dinners."
