that's weird. i noticed that when something gets sponsored, it generally lowers the rating due to what i like to call the "am i really viewing this? this is on the front page?" effect.
also, site sponsorships screw up the view count. there's some weird glitch equation that tallies the views and then divides the sum by some weird 1.03039 number or something, so the views get irreversibly altered. i even PMed max and he told me the view count garbage is towards the bottom of his list and that the moderation system is almost set to go.

if you care enough about this site to sponsor it (as well as others), you might want to consider finding a polite way shoot max a PM requesting he hurry up on the sponsorship baloney. [i]i/i] did because [i]i[/i] care. i donated close to one hundred dollars to the site in the last two weeks. some of those site were my own, some were some of my all time favs, and others were obscure little "gems" i just wanted the word to see. i'd hate to be doing those sites, those users and myself a disservice.
