my city got hit with 7 tornadoes in one day back on November 1, 2000. and I never saw any of them in person, but saw the highlights on TV. weird ass time of year for them, but they didn't do much damage. I think there was maybe one home that got destroyed and some lady got hit in the head with a garbage dumpster. But that was it.
