Yes, but only in The Mercenaries mode, an extra mode that's not in the GCN version. In The Mercenaries, your goal is to get as many points as you possibly can in the time limit by killing as much of an endless onslaught of enemies as you can. It's quite fun, and you can unlock a special weapon in the main game by perfecting every level.
