You mean Fire Emblem, which was out before Shining Force? Shining Force originated with Shining in the Darkness which was actually more a ripoff of Wizardry-style games. Seems to me that Shining games have a tendency to take ideas from other companies. Now, I love SF so don't get me wrong. But they weren't the first to do anything.

This was one of the last US Sega Saturn Games put out (Like one of the last 5). I think they had everything done but the voice acting, then belted that out over lunch or something. Sega just didn't care at that point.
