By accident I found what makes it go faster. Instead of refresh, just click the back button, then forward. It works much better that way.

Next time, open the sound in a wave editor and use that to determine the duration of each image.

That is exactly what I do when syncing these. And, Ironically, your gif does not sync on any machine I try it on. But thank you very much for it none the less.

I think part of the problem is that my GiF editor only goes down to one tenth of a second whereas there are lots of odd hundredths where I need to change it in this song. But when you're working with MS Paint, Microsoft Gif Editor, and Cool Edit Pro with

Try microsoft gif; it's not too great but it at least lets you go down to 1/100 of a second.
