This computer (which is about to go) came with a modem. Then we switched to broadband halfway thorough. Acutally, the new Dell I'm getting has dialup. Usless! just useless.

I used to go to YTMND with dialup. ha ha I don't miss those days. I almost joined SA then, but the pages loaded way too slowly.

I have the manual for the game Populous here that had one of the first LAN play options available, though I think it could, with a little hacking, work with online too. The manual assumes a default connection rate of 300 baud, and has special features for those lucky individuals with 800 baud.
