The point isn't "I'm trying to be a tank!". It's that "Our AoE escape spell is useless, because with that many mobs you're never gonna get the spell off".

Who the hell said this was an escape spell? This is mainly a tactical PVP spell, for ganking flags and such. Like 99% of spells out there, IT'S SITUATIONAL. Not a terrible YTMND, and locks could use some adjustments, but lemme say this: 1v1, locks are possibly the best class in the game. They suck balls vs multiple targets, though. I hate 'em, because 5 lvl 30 melees can kill a 60 lock. That doesn't make you broken, that means your talents lie elsewhere.

And if you want an escape spell, spec demonology, banish your voidwalker for the shield, then cast howl of terror. Or hell, get the AB trinket and spec whatever you want.
