If you thought it was pointless, why didn't you just skip it past a minute? on the old PSX, X for cut scenes, and Triangle for Codec calls.

Holy sh*t...this never happened on my copy of Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for Gamecube. Kee-rist. Her voice sucks, too. Who could argue that MGS PS1 is better than TTS?

A perfect example of how overblown MGS is as a whole. Anyway, some people like MGS better than TTS because they're Sony fanboys, and they seem to think that Kojima is a product of Sony.

What horrible dialogue. What the f*ck kind of secret agent has time for all that pointless banter when there are terrorists all around him getting ready to launch a nuke? That game was still very good, but the series as a whole is overrated. Also, I prefer the original to Twin Snakes because the voice actors in Twin Snakes were just going through the motions.
