OK, if I went down to my local computer store and bought all the parts to that computer, it would cost about $650 dollars including XP Home, video card, monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. They want you to make $619 ($40x13+$99) of payments before they even ship it to you.

And now that I look on wikipedia, it seems that you have to wait an additional 12 payments after the initial 13 payments for "auditor approval."

They're actually better than most rent to own places. Seriously, grab a calculator and check out a Rentway ad sometime. You'd have to have some REALLY screwed up credit to have to resort to some of that R-T-O crap.

lol, I got basically this PC for the wife, two years ago from Best Buy... for $300! Anyone who actually buys that, come see me. I have a hot deal on floppy disks - only $15 each!

Also, in response to the warranty thing... my $1450 laptop (with better specs than.. pretty much any PC on that site) could have gotten a $450 three-year warranty that includes HOME F*CKING SERVICE. Somehow I bet that's better than their plan--oh, and it's still $1900 for a LAPTOP that's better in every way.
