Although beating someone isn't as bad as leaving them to starve and be eaten by cockroaches (and I'm sure some "christians" have beaten up people before), anything that fuels hate against scientology is OK by me. :D

As per christians beating people up. Some friends of mine (founders of a pagen club) were attacked by christians (at the urging of a local politician) the attackers went to jail. The politician was removed from office and local christians supported my friends not the attackers.

In short yeah christians do beat people up but they don't get away with it. (So far that hasn't stopped them from trying)
