2006-08-04 18:53:33

Mein gott.
2006-08-04 18:53:35

I can only wonder if their spies are already among us, keenly noting our enemy crabs and Ridge Racers. They know that to make a mistake will end in their eternal e-mockery.
2006-08-04 18:54:22

whoa, that WASNT photoshopped
2006-08-04 18:56:03

No, this is BAD. Microsoft bows to no one. They buy them out and make them sh*tty, or they rip it off and drive people out of business. Can you imagine if MS owned YTMND?
2006-08-04 18:56:55

I have considered that possibility. It chills my blood. What if they create stealth accounts and use YTMND to spread their trailers and propaganda?
2006-08-04 18:57:43

2006-08-04 18:56:55 Crushed I have considered that possibility. It chills my blood. What if they create stealth accounts and use YTMND to spread their trailers and propaganda? ---- thats why we have downvoters ^_^
2006-08-04 19:00:33

Checked his source. To save people time, IT IS THERE! HOLY SHIET!

3 because it's neat being there... but you act like Microsoft know anything about video games!
2006-08-04 19:14:09

They are kinda making a console right now... and are the makers of the world's largest gaming platform (Windows).
2006-08-04 19:15:48

Not so sure about Wikipedia...
2006-08-04 19:19:38

No, it's genius, they're going to start community created games. Millions of games and no one has to pay developer costs, sheer brilliance! Granted it won’t have the refinement of paid projects but it will be able to adapt itself to any market and any desire.
2006-08-04 19:20:07

2006-08-04 19:39:03

They don't think YTMND is the future of gaming they just want to develope a "YouTube, YTMND, Wikipedia, etc." for games. They want to let independent developers put their games on this site or program so that way they can get recognition and give gamers more choice, All for free. They want to make something YTMND-esq
2006-08-04 19:50:32

what if this leads to YTMND XBL marketplace content, i must have cosby as my xbox dashboard theme!
2006-08-04 19:52:50

"community created content"
2006-08-04 19:54:05

That's pretty surprising. -1 for lame epic music
2006-08-04 19:55:55

2006-08-04 20:50:54

ha
2006-08-04 20:53:41

that's nice and all but wtf is wikipedia doing there? it would be really hard to use it to topple elitists since it's infested with the damn things.
2006-08-04 20:54:28

Wow. THe future of gaming. I feel important. Anyways, microsoft wouldn't buy a website like YTMND or Youtube because they deal in user-content. Theres no profit in that. The community is what makes it.
2006-08-04 20:56:25

OH MY GOD
2006-08-04 20:57:43

Interesting presentation but Microsoft and EA, the giants of gaming would crush, kill, and destroy anything remotely competitive, thus stifling innovation because they make money off the status quo. Innovating is risky and doesn't please shareholders. See the 5 billion Madden games for proof vs. how many rpgs or truly unique games that have come out in the past 5 years... I hate the current vg industry.
2006-08-04 21:04:14

Microsoft and EA do not delve into certain genres. The really violent and sexay are safe from their predations...for now.
2006-08-04 21:16:54

the text was fast, but i was able to keep it up since this is a short gif. the text needs to move fast so it can save memory. good to understand
2006-08-04 21:20:50

nice find but you should combine the last two slides and stop on peter moore's for a long time so i can really take it in. also, the red circle around the ytmnd logo isn't as easy to see as, say, a red arrow partly off into the blackness. the cold, black, blackness... ... ... what have i become?
2006-08-04 21:37:50

marketing firms save a lot of time doing research on the gaming community's reactions to announcements, i.e. "$599 ? WRONG !"
2006-08-04 21:39:08

Missed the point completely, but nice find. The point is that YTMND, Youtube, and Wikipedia are great examples of user created content, so why not try that sort of model for games. Good exposure for YTMND, at least.
2006-08-04 21:50:31

really have no f*cking clue what you're talking about or who those people that you mentioned are but 4'd anyway
2006-08-04 22:05:01

nice, lets make ytmnders look dumb because someone misinterpreted it, bravo sir.
2006-08-04 22:06:22

Please, cite the song. It's Navras by Don Davis.
2006-08-04 22:09:06

if you notice, he is talking about youtube and prolly all the content YTMNDers steal from it... lol, f*gs
2006-08-04 22:09:54

They wouldn't bow down to ytmnd, they would just buy it.
2006-08-04 22:13:42

YOU NEED ME TO SURVIVE
2006-08-04 22:16:13

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
2006-08-04 22:22:58

Ok, excuse my lack of checking sources, it's Navras by Don Davis and Juno Reactor. They aparently co-produced and co-performed it.
2006-08-04 22:28:36

I prenounce our new Emperor. All Hail Emperor Max!
2006-08-04 22:29:38

Good job, but PLEASE credit the music correctly. It's from The Matrix Revolutions and the track is (if I remember correctly) Neo vs. Smith.
2006-08-04 22:38:49

Correction: This is not saying that YTMND is teh future of gaming, but user-created content is. The slide shown is saying that the gaming industry needs more support towards the cummunity and needs to allow people not experienced enough to create games for major companies get try and learn a few things.
2006-08-04 22:39:49

nice find. but what did you do?
2006-08-04 22:40:28

Five just cause it's real

2006-08-04 23:13:36

This did not involve a fart joke, nor did it have credits. This is too much of a crappy textfilled infomovie.

2006-08-05 05:21:34

2006-08-05 05:43:48

Note that Blu-ray is NOT the future of gaming. Lol, owned.
2006-08-05 05:52:12

How do we keep winning? I hope we don't end up selling out.
2006-08-05 05:58:46

NIIIIIIIICE!
2006-08-05 06:05:05

1'd for unfunny, and for dumbass sound source.
2006-08-05 06:14:21

the gaming industry needs more elitism if anything.
2006-08-05 06:25:02

Microsoft wouldn't buy YTMND, they'd make a "superior" clone...which would be nice, because then all the newcomers would go there instead, leaving this site for people that don't f*cking suck ass. All the Cosby-lovin', Final Fantasy-playin', NEDM-stroking f*ggots could run over there.
2006-08-05 06:25:15

YTMND isnt leet?
2006-08-05 07:03:55

the other day i was walking down the street and i noticed this old man. he was a bum, and id seen him every now and then on some far off corner, drunk, passed out, sh*tting himself. something to that extent every time. but this time it was different. he was obviously sober, a very rare thing to see in this city, and he was sitting and running his fingers back and forth in the air, as if he was counting something. touting this as a unique opportunity, i walked up to him, and said
2006-08-05 07:18:26

Xbox going to a cheap way to get people to play their system....I guess they really are failing so bad that they need to find something cheap and free to stay alive.
2006-08-05 07:19:00

why the f*ck would someone fav this?
2006-08-05 07:25:04

mmm furture blowjobs
2006-08-05 07:47:00

You posted a slide taken out of context with a sensationalist message and put incorrectly cited music behind it. Half a star for each.
2006-08-05 07:57:30

If we get microsoft creating accounts to make adverts on here, downvoters may be useful for once...
2006-08-05 08:07:11

Interesting
2006-08-05 08:32:49

Using that audio gets a 1 from me under any circumstances.
2006-08-05 08:34:26

Neat
2006-08-05 08:35:31

Cite it correctly and I'll vote. The song is Navras by Don Davis adn Juno Reactor, not "Matrix Soundtrack".
2006-08-05 08:43:27

We are the best around. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can ever keep us down.
2006-08-05 08:48:35

2006-08-05 09:42:42

legendary ytmnd
2006-08-05 10:10:07

NOW if only Peter Moore could figure out a way to ELIMINATE ELITISM on YTMND.
2006-08-05 10:11:07

They don't think YTMND is the future of gaming they just want to develope a "YouTube, YTMND, Wikipedia, etc." for games.
