Sometimes the only reason people like older games is just nostalgia. I watched my sister play Super Mario RPG and I wasn't really all that interested. Those bandits at that star place annoyed me, so I never really enjoyed it.

I played Zelda 1 and I didn't see what was so extraordinary about it. Yes it was the original, that doesn't mean I have to like it.
