To be honest, I don't see what the big deal is. The graph where the trend drops a large ammount from left to right is infact a rise in traffic. It goes from about 200 at the top to 800 at the bottom of the y-axis. Not that big a deal and is being fueled by the ebaums-world hate bandwaggon.
