lol there is no f*cking reason this site shouldn't be MAKING 10k a month with the traffic you get. Max you need to realise that ytmnd has been a free ride for alot of people over the last year and a bit, there is relatively NO ads on the site, no popups, you don't even see the ads on the ytmnd tab... I think a popup now and then would be fine, and it would definately increase revenue. If you want to make the site into a means of income that is.

Max, if you were to add a yearly/monthly fee for a membership it would really help the site in two ways. The first is obvious. The second would be to filter out some of these punk a$$ kids that are F a gging up YTMND. I have been less and less interested and hope this site does not continue on the sh*t trail is has been on. I would gladly pay a membership fee dear friend, and I am sure some of this communities most valued users would do the very same! -Mr. Grim

Another thought just came to mind if you want to keep the userbase completely free with no fees. What happened to that Adbrite stuff? Couldn't you easily setup a pay per link option with that on the YTMND front page?

I PM'ed you with bandwidth conservation tips but you'll probably never read it. If you can find a tier 1 ISP to host you, they may be able to do it for free (since they have their own backbone connection and peering agreement, bandwidth doesn't cost them anything).
