Isn't YTMND's success a good thing though? I imagine Max would like to make money rather than owe it and as awful as mainstream sounds, mainstream isn't always bad. The inability of the masses to truly appreciate something cheapen it, it just makes our kind all the more rare and valuable to YTMND. | ||||||

| Donations are a completely worthless way to support a website. There is no incentive for people to continue donating because of the FREE RIDER problem, and it is highly doubtful that premium memberships will cover all of the costs. And, as for the "server traffic without
providing any revenue"... revenue is directly tied to server traffic as are costs. The more ads you have the greater your revenues per hit. When revenues per hit match (total) costs per hit, then you have a sustainable non-profit site. | ||||||
