Entropy, however, only applies to closed systems- a supernatural diety would mean the Universe is NOT a closed system, meaning the Universe could be inifinite in duration, thus eradicating the need for god to create it. Man created God in his own image in an attempt to explain the creation of the universe. None of us know the truth and most of us are afraid of whats out there and what we do not understand. A nice simple "God" that blankets everything from existance to death makes us feel safe and sated. I beleive that when I die thats it, game over...but I dont fear death infact Im just happy to have existed in any form at all which in itself is pretty amazing. the very idea of god nulls the mind to different possibilites of why the universe exists.
