Well, Vanish/X-Zone exploiuts the same bug. It doesn't roll off the tongue as well though. And there's one major bug with vanish/x-zone that makes it so you can't kill Doom Gaze. He'll just come back with full HP. Doom works though.

Well, you can still win the economizer is you vanish/doom it. You can also fight it more than once. And if you look closely, you'll see that Celes has an economizer equipped already.
