I'm trying to find a pattern, and so far I can't, all of the presidents listed have only one thing in common, that they were all presidents at one point... other than that, I can't really notice a trend. One thing, this is a democracy ( or so I hear) so the people are supposed to have influence in the government. If we "respect them [the presidents]" no matter what they do then we are a tyrannical government because we aren't influencing the government and allowing the rulers to do whatever they please with us. If we show our opinion we prevent tyranny by showing others what bad stuff these people have done allowing us to impeach and maybe not allow them to rule our country in the first place.

Conquest for a particular ideology (in this case, democracy) is still conquest. You invade another nation, often without any explanation that is either truthful or can be proven, and depose its rulers, most of which (in the case of MANY South American conquests) were democratically elected just like your own, and put in your own dictators who are sensitive to American demands. How is this not conquest? That's the least it is. I, personally, would call it terrorism, but that's just me.
