It's a moment of psychological revelation for Uncle Buck. He intends to catch his nephew doing something unwholesome with his girlfriend but, when he sees her face, he finds that he's looking at himself. The point is that Uncle Buck is confronted with his true motivation for breaking down the door: he is sexually attracted to his nephew and wanted to watch him have sex.

Last time I saw that movie, that was his niece doing something unwholesome with some random guy. He ensured the parents that their son and daughter wouldnt do anything that they wouldnt do had the parents been there instead, when he was asked to babysit them.

*I meant that he thought that was his niece, it turned out to be some random girl and guy, and he was shocked that he busted down the door for nothing.

Ambulo's version is better.
