Took quite a bit of editing to make his mouth movements appear to actually reflect the sound clip, somewhat. I didn't notice until I was done just how similar his hand motions are to Stan's in the classic YTMND this is based upon...

He's also telling us some sort of secret message in sign language.
2007-02-03 20:59:09

Gore/Obama = No thanks. Gore had his chance, he's old hat now. I've got money on the DNC nominating Edwards, though. They're desperate enough for the White House, and they're afraid of alienating people by running Clinton or Obama. We'll see, it's gonna be great fun though.
2007-02-03 21:05:04

MUSLIM!!
2007-02-03 21:05:14

"Gore had his chance, he's old hat now" - Gore had his chance, and he won the popular vote, and he's a much better candidate now than in 2000 having to explain for Clintons negatives and pretend to be something he's not. He's like Nixon '68 vs. '60. regardless, your site description cost you a 5 star vote, and yes for politics in this case. a bad political joke (espec. considering Bush has now spent more than even Kucinich could ever dream of for the next generations to pay) ruins a rare good one on YTMND
2007-02-03 21:05:47

vote deleted.

5 for obama, -1 for the possibilty of starting a bad fad.
2007-02-03 23:56:50

He'd sell anything to America for a few points in the polls. I've never seen such a radical leftie convince themselves that they're "middle of the road" as much as he does.
2007-02-03 23:58:18

And funny description, btw.
2007-02-03 23:59:27

2007-02-04 00:54:05

1. I hate this fad (usually). 2. I actually like Obama. 3. So what. Funny.
2007-02-04 00:58:49

"Oh, and an increase in minimum wage. Which means fewer jobs, costlier goods, and- More taxes." - if the average wage had raised in ratio with what the CEO's of companies make, the US minimum wage would currently be 16 dollars per hour. the average CEO makes 300-500 times what their workers make, which is way out of proportion from the rest of the world. also, if you actually look at states that have raised minimum wage, you'd see they actually made more jobs. the 'bad for the economy' line has no merit. It puts money back in peoples pockets and its proven the spend it. Inflation goes up anyways and what happens when the people don’t have the money to buy the goods? A snowball effect where products are made and noone can afford him. Society crumbles. The end.
2007-02-04 00:59:59

You have to look at the min. wage as this - if you are making the minimum wage, its telling you that your boss would pay you even less if they could. thats entirely the intent of anyone who would want to abolish it.
2007-02-04 01:07:44

I agree with Sitsu on this one, and say that I for one will be voting for Comrade Obama.
2007-02-04 01:10:05

This is awesome rofl whats with the downvotes on YTMND? Isnt there admins who can just ban these people and make it a bit more peaceful... look at SUPASEXY for example 100% 1stars
2007-02-04 01:12:21

Obamania! FYI- He's not Muslim.

2007-02-04 01:19:19

Holy SH*T, what's the name of that song!
2007-02-04 01:20:46

dont get me wrong, capitalism is the best system there is of all the choices there are. however libertarians make the mistake of believing that corporations would regulate themselves without massive corruption that would essentially try to enslave the middle class. i'm not saying the government is all that trustworthy either, however you can vote in different governments, whereas you have no democratic say in what corporations do other than your dollar, And I hope constant mergers, buyouts, monopolies, outsourcing etc would teach people they don’t really (nor do they have to) care about your best interest, and would work to lower the impact of that option. They're only responsible to their shareholders.
2007-02-04 01:24:06

in conclusion: lol politics NEconimicsDM n*gg* stole my living wage captain jean luc badnarik uss LP. Doug Stanhope is still the man. if he had the libertarian leadership i'd vote for him just to hear Midget F*cking jokes during stump speeches.
2007-02-04 01:30:32

I'm with Sitsu on everything except Stanhope. I can't vote on this site, your description is pure sh*t. This was 5worthy, now its sh*t and I may come back to downvote it later.
2007-02-04 01:41:58

supah-fabio, the song is "Hardware Store" by Weird Al. I've clarified this in the Sound Origin notation for future curious souls...
2007-02-04 01:50:31

JOHN EDWARDS
2007-02-04 01:51:04

I'm no Bush fan either, as MasterSitsu noticed, see: oneofthesepresidents.ytmnd.com So to any of you that may be downvoting purely because you think you're hitting back at the other side: You missed...
2007-02-04 01:51:32

He's too clean for me.
2007-02-04 02:04:59

been talking to vrinfidel through PM about these issues. we disagree on certain things but he's certainly not stupid. he's certainly put thought into his own views and is very civil and well spoken about them. hats off to this guy.
2007-02-04 02:08:39

(in other words, thanks for not being "lol bush is gay stupid repukeicans" or "demoCRATS are commize")

"regardless, your site description cost you a 5 star vote, and yes for politics in this case. a bad political joke (espec. considering Bush has now spent more than even Kucinich could ever dream of for the next generations to pay) ruins a rare good one on YTMND" qft.
2007-02-04 02:47:08

Republicans are stoopid LOLOLOLZ. Jk, although Dems ftw. However, I would sooner support McCain than Hillary (ew). Socialism is best I believe, as long as your government is somewhat pure. Businesses are just too greedy to control the economy. They are interested in what is good for business now, and what is good for THEIR business and f*ck the people and the future. Laissez Faire ftl.
2007-02-04 02:54:16

That's the big problem, IV, the government of the United States is about as pure as the Love Canal in New York State in the 1950s
+1
2007-02-04 02:57:38

5 because he looks funny, im from UK so i dont really know anything about US government but u guys do get angry as sh*t at eachother for it. that goes the same with (football is better than rugby, soccer is boring, etc.) I dont like our leaders in the commons either. But i think america should get a rule in where u can just boot the leader out whenever u want and hold a vote for a new one.
2007-02-04 03:01:34

i think McCain is a decent person, and by republican standards would be a good leader, however to get there its depressing to watch him sacrifice the 'maverick'ness by sucking up to jerry falwell, already flip flopping like crazy and otherwise doing everything he can to strengthen a base. in other words, he's becoming as fake as hillary is now. federal politics turns otherwise decent people into well, to quote Bill Hicks, liars and murderers. if Obama were elected (and hey i think he's likeable too) Eventually he'd have blood on his hands too. Maybe people like this are better off as mayors instead of ruining their lives in the big game. Or in Baracks' case, potentially assassinated? Does this seem possible to anyone else?
2007-02-04 03:04:14

this thread has gone way longer than i expected without a full on flame war.
2007-02-04 03:06:19

Nice.
2007-02-04 03:30:15

here's your 5 back. you earned it back by being a respectable guy, and its good enough to need to stay on UAC>
2007-02-04 03:44:25

I'd imagine a big reason he looks funny, Ragglefraggle, is because I made his head bounce around all silly ;)
2007-02-04 03:44:58

I appreciate that MasterSitsu, so long as I earned it
2007-02-04 03:45:20

Having a black president would raise our country's cool rating by roughly 300%. We'll finally get into the UN's parties.

2007-02-04 04:28:07

Well, as it was put in a conversation between a friend of mine and I: Obama won't get elected 'cause he's black. So? There's just enough racists to keep him out of office. But black people will vote for him. Find me a black person who doesn't already vote democrat. I bet I can find you a lot of black people that don't vote at all. So, maybe he can bring out a lot of people that haven't voted in the past.
2007-02-04 04:30:42

At first I was like.. Ok whatever. As the song's pace increased, It became funnier and suddenly I was quite mezmerised and amused. 4 +1 for awareness.
2007-02-04 04:46:33

It's mesmerizing because it's based upon a combination of Weird Al's pace and word choice, the way we talk, and an optical illusion
2007-02-04 06:25:43

haha topical
2007-02-04 06:54:28

And strangly enough, you could buy as many of these things for the people of America as you wanted, and it would still cost less than the war in Iraq. Zing!

2007-02-04 12:23:46

I would have 3'd it, but the addition of "the next generation will pay for it" clinched the 5, because Obama is a douchebag. LOST is a student project. The aim of LOST is to show how 7 million people connect to one another, and break the record for the game with the most players ever! ----------------------http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http://www.lost.eu/18c82 http
