I don't get the "NEDM", since NEDM didn't make the song, and there's no NEDM, and it's just Coburn, and I don't know what Coburn has to do with the internet in general, and the internet in general doesn't seem to be a big party, and 4channers seem to have a lot more fun than most internet users, so I'd reverse it, but it was at least something different.

This is actually really nice, except for the fact that the loop for the NEDM music is very slightly off...I guess it'd be too hard to fix since you've already added the background noise in though?

This is a good ytmnd, but the truth of it is that 4chan is the recycling plant of the internet. There is very little REAL original content that comes out of 4chan, and even if there was, there's no way to prove it. YTMNDers have names, creation dates, records, etc. We can PROVE when something came out of YTMND. None of the chans can. I don't like 4chan, I don't like the majority of people that USE 4chan and I don't like seeing the word "4chan" sitting on the frontpage of ytmnd. Null Vote.

In creation of a YTMND, there is the option to cite sources, which at best does an accurate job at sourcing the various pieces of internet from which the YTMND itself is a derivative. There will never be 100% accuracy when dealing with internet memes and their origins, but YTMND does it's best under the constant criticism from users from sites like 4chan who constantly claim credit for...

What my original point was stating is that there's simply no grounds from which to launch those kinds of claims, especially when your own method of starting online fads has no records or creation dates- because it's an image board- and that's something that will never change.

NEDM Started HERE- Happycat, which ISN'T from 4chan to BEGIN with, was from a completely un-related site. Using Happycat in conjunction with Coburn's "We Interrupt this Program" is a concept completely foreign to 4chan- especially since 4chan doesn't have the ability to use soundclips. And "Sage This Sh*t"? Go back to your damp basement and look at more loli, you moron.

I can't say with one hundred percent accuracy but if you keep an eye on recently created YTMNDs you'll notice a lot of copied fads that started being more popular on 4chan before they were on YTMND, and most of the time they're downvoted and they don't make it on the main page. So the people making those sites don't. . .

necesarrily represent all of YTMND but I'd say a large chunk of people on YTMND do just rip off something they find on 4chan or somethingawful or whatever. They just never get famous. But every once and a while you'll see one get into the up and coming. I think it's just those people that give YTMND a bad name.

That's why I think that it's every YTMNDer's responsibility to try and keep the frontpage clean. But I believe 4chan may need to be recognized for one thing: before a fad gets big on YTMND, it's usually big on 4chan first. Doesn't mean it's original. Doesn't mean it's worth a damn. The cycle is usually the same, something on the internet found by Something Awful, overdone by 4chan, modified by YTMND and then watermarked by ebaum. But yeah, I agree, no more 4chan nazis please.

There's stuff that's unique (from the beginning) to ytmnd and 4chan, there's stuff that's intermixed from everyone, and occasionally there's some direct theft (the stuff that gets downvoted by sensible users). Personally I try and make my content as fresh as possible.

xXWaspXx: Personally I decided I don't make very good YTMNDs but I make good sound loops of other people's songs. So if I make a site, even if it's terrible, I judge it not by what others say or whatnot, but whether or not the loop is flawless. Yeah.. that was off topic. I should go to sleep.
