It's basically the Vanilla Ice argument of 'the one extra beat that makes it different' except with these songs it's a couple extra notes.

Yeah, they sound similar...but are far from the same...get some new batteries for your hearing aid.

I'm glad you share my opinion that audioslave is a bunch of bastards who steal everyone's work.

audioslave doesn't steal others work, they just create their own new sh*tty god-awful material. Thats coming from one of the biggest Soundgarden fans you can find, Cornell just went down the tubes creatively since he met with Morello & crew. 1st album was ok, 2nd meh, 3rd struck out. Too bad. Anyways, enough of me ranting. And they sound slightly the same, but there is a differance of quite a few notes.

I doubt the ripoff was intentional, and I think Audioslave would more turn to Led Zeppelin more than anything else, anyway, both songs rock (even if Pantera rocks damn harder).
