Not the best example of his theivery. Just play some of George Lopez's standup and then play Mencia's sh*t. He's a total phony.

This guy does have some charisma, and he puts together a good act, but he just keeps stealing sh*t. I can't even watch his show.

All I can say is that it sucks that Mencia is probably going to go down for this and rightly so. I saw him about 5-6 years ago before he was ever famous and, like the DJ says, he's just a really nice person. He went 45 minutes over his time and talked in person with everyone who came to the show afterwards.

I don't know about this. The idea of "stereotype Olympics" is basic enough that anyone could come up with it on their own. Conan O'Brien had "Stereotypes On Dirt Bikes" a long time ago (probably almost 10 years ago by now). The DJ claimed that many aspects of the bit were the same, but I'd need to see them side-by-side to judge for myself. It's certainly true that Carlos Mencia is a talentless hack, and it's probably true that he steals jokes. I think it's funny that he doesn't even understand the criticisms against him. People don't CARE that he exploits stereotypes -- they get that. They just don't think he's funny because that's ALL he does. He's one of the most predictable comedians around, and his "edginess" is completely shallow.

What's actually funny is that Mencia probably doesn't realize he's stealing stuff. He's so stupid that he forgets where ideas for jokes originate, and so he just writes down the ideas in his head thinking they're his own when they were something he probably heard years ago and forgot about. The "dee-dee-dee" crap should be an attempt at self-deprecation, if anything.

Oh and BTW, I don't like YTMNDs that just post audio from some radio show with no added humor, and in this case even the original audio doesn't have a joke.
