In all honesty, I have had two people say that they won't frequent the site anymore due to the intrusive ads and bad attitudes. With a moderator system, I can only see it becoming more of a popularity contest. YTMND is all about it's users. User created. User controlled. Anarchy. Treat us bad, and the YTMND fails. I guess the site has just outgrown itself.

maybe I don't lurk the forums enough or something but I don't see much difference between YTMND now and YTMND at any point in time in the couple of years I've been here; if anything, I find it more entertaining, fleshed out and polished of a site than it's ever been, but maybe that's just me.
