How is he insane? Other than the *cough* guns on planes thing..

2007-05-21 14:22:27

YOu know what would have stopped 9/11? Guns on planes. Hell, there should even be zones you can't get into without a gun, instead of Gun-Free Zones/Easy Target Zones.
+10

2007-05-21 15:19:21

actually why don't flight attentdents have guns? I mean what's the problem with that? Because they can defend themselves then?

zerotron...are...are you serious?
+1

2007-07-15 03:53:10

If everyone on a plane had a gun, there would be ZERO hi-jackings. The only possible attack would be a bomb, and a bomb would kill hundreds rather than a kamikaze killing thousands. Look at 9/11. Compare the towers to United 93. Thousands vs hundreds. If people are going to die, cut the number down as much as you can.

2007-09-21 16:05:39

good idea SnowOptix, arm everyone and there will never be hijackings again. just lots and lots of dead people. yay!!!! flight attendents need guns because the air marshall might fall asleep and they need to be able to shoot stuff in tiny airtight airplanes to defend themselves from the towelheads.

2009-08-16 07:47:50

News flash: 9/11 was an inside job!
2007-05-21 08:36:38

That sums it up quite nicely.

"Radical musliums in iraq are just like scientologists in the USA." then what the hell do you think we're fighting there? as the "freedom fighter" chants allahu akbar...
-3

2007-05-21 10:40:03

We can pull out of the Middle East completely, we can stop all support of Israel. If we do those two things, we might buy ourselves 10 years at the most. Radical Islam demands that it's followers destroy the west, in order to force the rule of Islam over the entire globe. For right now however, they will settle for just taking back every piece of land from Spain to Asia and put it under Sharia Law.

2007-05-21 10:43:41

It is laughable that people such as yourselves call it "fear mongering", as if Churchill was a fear monger. This problem has been staring us in the face for the past 20 years. It will only get worse, and there is no way to avoid violence in order to put it to an end. Do you people not study the region? What they teach their children? That to die for the sake of spreading Islam's rule over nations is one of their highest callings? Was the Danish cartoonist involved in Iraq when he was killed for his cartoon
-5

2007-05-21 10:45:33

Where we in Iraq when we were attacked on 9/11? These clerics speak openly that Islamic rule is the only way there can be peace, and you blatantly ignore it. Do you really want to pretend it's not there only to have your children and grandchildren fighting an even greater threat?
-3

2007-05-21 11:30:49

They didn't kill the cartoonist over that sh*t, they wanted to but he didn't die over it. Stop spreading your fud moron.
+2

2007-05-21 11:34:51

Fud? People like you don't even deserve an opinion. You negate all rationality, ignore reality and refuse to believe in anything factual. People are killed all the time in Islamic countries for religious transgressions, why in the hell do you think they wouldn't kill a cartoonist for the same reason? Extremists openly called for "death to the Pope" when he made his remarks about Islam. They are trained from birth to think this way. You ignoring it won't make it go away.
-1

2007-05-21 11:40:22

I cannot figure people like you out. Do you have a close relative or a friend that is an extremist muslim? Someone you are afraid to anger? Or are you just so adamant for supporting "peace" that you will defend fanatics that would take off your head if they could get away with it? Are you opposed to the college students of these oppressive countries who get educated enough to know their governments are lying to them, and want to overthrow their violent tyrannical governments? You must be.
-1

2007-05-21 11:46:48

Oh I have no problem with taking Islamic extremism away, but who's to say American Christianity is any better. If anything, it's the same thing in many aspects. It's all a population war just for some jerk wad's idea from centuries past. Both sides need to get in touch with reality a little more and stop doing their life's work for metaphysical and non-existant prophets. I'll not deny that the war is a neccessity, but the cause is cryptic and flawed.
+1

2007-05-21 12:23:34

this was better when i saw it on Bill Maher and not on YTMND. and to anyone is thinking of reading Tex's rant here, keep in mind he believes Bill O'Reilly is a socialist liberal.

2007-05-21 12:25:34

i'd also like to play the 'why arent you in iraq texaggie' card. if you're YTMND age bracket and Tex A&M age bracket, i'm sure they'd take you. whatsa matter McFly? CHICKEN?

2007-05-21 13:12:40

texaggie is right....about this issue, anyway. laughable about many other things

2007-05-21 14:18:22

I really hate to put this out there, but it would honestly be a whole lot easier to nuke the f**kers. It wouldn't make it rigt by any conceivable stretch of the imagination, but it seems like the only way the violence in the Middle East would end.
+1

2007-05-21 14:55:31

Though to counter Sitsu's little war in Iraq card, one could simply say Tex is fighting a greater war. Over here with you people. That's a much scarier front...

2007-05-21 15:14:30

texaggie I actually agree with you on most stuff, but seriously why are we even in iraq they can't even organize a group and we are making the ones that weren't angry at us angry at us. We should've pulled out after we killed saddam and said you're on your own. Also, I do agree though that there is some threats with muslims though. Definatly not in iraq though.

2007-05-21 17:32:40

Zero, Iraq will become the what Afghanistan was before 9/11 if we left. Basically we deal with it now, why we are there, or we come back in 10 years when its 20 times worse.

2007-05-21 17:35:26

The reason it appears so bad in Iraq is 2 fold. The media never shows any good news and secondly, insurgence is coming from surrounding Islamic countries. Our armed forces are fully aware that the jihadists see that as the war front and they are sending their men there to keep us from securing the country. If we weren't in Iraq, we would be hearing the same crap about Afghanistan. There would be far more insurgence there and we would be losing many more lives there. This battle has to be faught somewhere.

2007-05-21 17:36:34

ive been to Iraq mastersitsu, does this make me any more qualified to talk about the bad that can come of radical islam

2007-05-22 04:11:34

Both Christianity and Islam is very full of sh*t that says kill the people that don't agree with you. What's the point of pointing ugly fingers at them when we are doing such a better job at killing them at the moment.

This was was brought onto us by ourselves. Our elected representatives are whores to corporate business. Staging 9/11 is possible. This war is BS, we are there because it TRIPLES our gas prices. More expensive gas= more profit for our whores. And isn't that what we all want? NO! It's not! Ron Paul 2008! Dismantling the lobbyist policy! Dismantling the IRS! Building borders! America FTW!!!!!!

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live." - Winston Churchill

I pretty much agree with that statement. The only credible candidate in any party in my opinion. He was right about how we should have waged war against Iraq, in declaring an out right constitutional war. If only he would see the threat extremist Islam poses, he would be my dream candidate. He is my district's representative, however, and I always vote for him in congress.

5 for Ron Paul. I think he's the least insane one there. No one else (especially Giuliani) understood the simple concept of blowback. Hey Giuliani, do you think that the Iranians care more about your cross-dressing and 3 marriages, or do you think they care more that the CIA pulled a coup on their democratically elected leader and replaced him with the repressive Shah? Think carefully about that.

If you are trying to express yourself Republican in a short comment, why list more Democrat positions.. Majority positions and vocal ideals: 1. anti-censorship: Democrat 2. environmentalist: Democrat 3. pro-gay marriage: Democrat 4. anti-terrorism: not applicable 5. pro-death penalty: Republican 6. pro-life: Republican 7. feminist: Democrat That's rhetorical I don't care for your answer.
2007-05-24 05:44:09

I was merely trying to inform you. A lot of people like yourself seem to have a rather myopic point of view when it comes to politics. Just trying to enlighten you to the fact that not all republicans are what would be viewed as typical w.a.s.p.'s. I try to be a tolerant, well-informed person. I actually consider most of the values I listed to be embraced in the republican platform, and definitely the ones I feel most strongly about (abortion and terrorism).

Ron Paul = "spoke out against the war in Iraq for many years even before the war". That means I don't like him. We need to get tougher in Iraq, drive on to Iran and Syria, where the terrorists and insurgents are actually coming from, and anywhere else they move to, because they will move.
