It's not how he looks or how old he's suppose to be, but the style of the art. Before long, he'll be reduced to a stick figure if the trend continues.

Thanks for the PM, but in all fairness the graphics are allowed to revert back to TWW because it's advancing the story and it's for the less powerful DS.

Also Phantom Hourglass is a DIRECT sequel to Wind Waker.

I wouldn't call "anime" mature. Minda and her nagging, egotist personality made our "hero" look like a joke getting pushed around all the time. The characters in the game world were drawn with a distinct cartoon look. Link was swinging a ball and chain more massive and heavy than the objects he was destroying with them. They were shooting him out of a canon, FFS. I'd argue the pre OOT games were more mature themed... heck, adult Link in OOT was pretty mature too.

I hate stereotyping the Japanese but... i'm not holding my breath. I mean, look what they did to the Super Mario Bros. Have you seen the stuff for Mario Galaxy? Ugh. Good god, they're breaking my balls.

Hyrus, they kill that character in almost every Zelda game remember? There's a reincarnation thing mixed up in the Zelda series. Those 3 always come back in some form or another.
