I'll have to disagree with you. I would say it took place somewhere between Seasons 12 & 14. Most of 12 & 13 were actually pretty good , but crap like "Simpsons Safari" and "Catch em if you can" were just plain garbage.

Yeah, the later seasons did certainly have their moments. Carl: "I've got Melt-Mania!" Lenny: "I've got DOWN Syndrome!" They just didn't seem to be as frequent as in the earlier seasons. But I'm still a fan of both; just one more than the other.

IMO, it all went downhill after the episode with Maude's Death.

IMHO, it's always been good. Always, perhaps if only there's still nothing quite the same as "The Simpsons." Then again, I've grown up with them the same way people grow up with "Sesame Street."

IMO it went downhill after Skinner was revealed to be a complete fraud, thus ruining all the respect and memories that had been created from him over the years. Now you look at him and say "Fraud!" Also Maude's death, though. Even though she played one of the most minor parts in the show, and was rarely featured...

That episode bothers me. There are some parts that are funny but it is mostly annoying. I especially hate the way the plot goes.

The Sideshow Bob episode referenced in my YTMND or the one where Marge takes that prisoner named Jack into her home?

The one where marge takes the prisoner home. Skinner is a douche and Jack should have set things straight and became the better person, instead of revealing to all that he is a lying vengeful scumbag.

That episode was more for its one-liner jokes than it was for plot, as tended to happen around season 13ish.
