If I may make a suggestion, though... The image itself conveys a powerful feeling of loneliness, and the music box-style intro notes to Message in a Bottle help that well. The words take away from the sense of hopelessness, loneliness, and despair somewhat, especially in the parts that feature dual vocals. They're not BAD, I'm just saying they don't fit as well as they could. :)

No they shouldn't. He created a tribute to one of their songs. You can't expect to be as good as the original. Attempting to recreate a classic is near impossible, especially with a completely different twist. I'm sure they love seeing people taking enough interest in their music to try and recreate it again.

Covers can be as good or even better than the original. Machine Head covered this song in 1999 and I think it's just as good as The Police's version. However, that is rare for a cover to be on the same level as an original. I guess good covers happen on occasion though.

It's not often you find self-made YTMND sites with both great audio and visual concepts. Usually the author focuses on one and the other is just filler, bringing the quality of the site down a lot. That's not the case with this site. This is the best YTMND I've seen in months.
